Der Kämpfer - The Fighter
Created in 1938 for the Round Hall of Albert Speer’s Neue Reichskanzlei in Berlin, Arno Breker's Der Kämpfer ("The Fighter") was a monumental bronze relief depicting a heroic warrior, a key embodiment of Nazi-era aesthetic ideals.
The sculpture portrays a muscular, idealized male figure in a dramatic "en garde" position, holding a sword by the blade, embodying themes of readiness and sacrifice. Like many of Breker's works, it utilized neoclassical styling to convey power, tension, and a "Germanic" athletic physique.
This edit is exclusively offered through Thuleism. No comparable High-Resultion edition widely available elsewhere.
